The Future Of Community: Getting To Know The WIP

We wanted to take a moment to introduce The WIP to you! We are excited to share they are sponsoring The Shop, our first ever in person store experience, this bank holiday weekend.

So, let’s get to know The WIP. We’ll start with the basics:

About The WIP

The WIP is a digital, membership platform built for collective growth. Cultivated by Lucy Kebbell, who has spent a career connecting industry operators to make impactful change, The WIP will be a tool to grow together with like minded progressives, for the positive present and future of People and Planet.
Members will enjoy access to a curated library of classes, resources and minds of informed Activators to help them grow their sustainable business in line with their own values. Expect toolkits featuring holistic business resources, access to experts and fellow members, allow members to learn and to put their own learnings back into the community. The platform is low impact, meaning that every decision taken has considered the carbon footprint of the business and our members.

 The Mission of The WIP

“We’re regenerating the personal development space for people who value responsible practices and hard work. For brand founders, entrepreneurs, designers, side hustlers, employers and employees. That means creating a space where responsible minds do the work, but with circularity; constantly putting learnings back in, enabling others at different stages to thrive. Doing the work that’s progressive, that pushes things forward and supports communities from the roots up. Where work is in public, in progress and in partnership.” – Lucy, Founder of The WIP

How can I support them?

Good question! They are currently crowdfunding to complete the build of their unique, digital membership platform. You can support their journey by supporting and sharing their Kickstarter campaign (link here) which is live until 3rd September. Helping The WIP reach their goal will be an incredible way of supporting a grass roots platform that has community at it's heart. For more information on the campaign, pledging options and pre purchasing memberships, click here.
